Terms, privacy and credits

Who we are

RESOLUTE is made and sold by KORU INTERACTIVE, a company registered in Brazil. Write to us at resolute@koruinteractive.com. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms.

The game is fiction

Everything that happens in a term is invented. Real public figures, companies and organizations appear for satire and commentary, and the game may put them through invented events (a scandal, an investigation, an illness, a death), as described in the satire notice below. Nothing in the game is news, advice, or a statement or endorsement by a real person or company, and no one in it is affiliated with the game.

Part of the text you read is written during play by a language model. It follows our rules and filters, but it can be wrong or out of place. Report it and we will fix it.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old. One person per account; keep your password to yourself and your email up to date, since it is how you recover the account.

Free and pro

The free plan plays the first twelve months of every term, keeps one term at a time and starts one new term a day; where pro lets you write your own words (the State of the Union, the debates, the hearings, the meetings), the free plan plays the staff's version. Pro opens the whole term and the extras listed on the pro screen. Pro never buys a better result: it buys more game.

When pro ends, the terms you started while you had it stay saved, exactly as they were, and open again when you renew. A term started after the end follows the free plan.

Pro by card is a monthly subscription at the price shown before you pay (US$9.99 a month at launch, plus taxes where they apply). It renews automatically every month and charges the card on file until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or keep your card number.

Cancel online at any time in Account › Manage subscription. Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid, and nothing else is charged. Charges already made are not refunded, except where the law where you live requires it. If we change the price, we email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

In Brazil, Pix buys 30 days of pro in a single payment (R$ 19.99) that does not renew. Pro codes we give out work as described when you redeem them.

Fair play

Do not use the game to harass anyone, to generate hateful or sexual content about real people, or to overload or attack the service. Do not tamper with saves to climb the rankings: tampered terms are removed from the board. We may hide a President's name on the public board that is offensive or impersonates someone.

What is ours and what is yours

The game, its code, art and writing belong to KORU INTERACTIVE. Names and trademarks of real companies belong to their owners and are used only to refer to them. The words you write in the game are yours; you let us store and process them to run your term and to improve the game.

No guarantees

The game is offered as it is. We work to keep your terms safe, but we cannot promise the service will never be down or that a save will never be lost. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months.

Changes, ending and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes, and a change that matters is told in the game or by email first. You can delete your account at any time from the account screen, which also cancels a subscription. We may close accounts that break these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without taking away the consumer protections of the place where you live.

What we keep

Your account: the email, the name you chose and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), and whether the email was confirmed. Your terms: the saves of your games, including the words you wrote in them, and the stamps you earned.

If you pay: the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and the subscription's status. Card numbers, and the CPF a Pix payment asks for, stay with Stripe.

To run the service: a ledger of the requests the game makes to the language model (route, time, cost and the cached answer), counters that slow down repeated sign-in attempts, and error reports from the game's screens, kept 30 days.

For security, against abuse of the free plan and payment fraud: the date of each sign-in and of your last visit, and the IP address, browser and approximate location (country and city, as Cloudflare reads them) of each sign-in, kept 90 days. Only the operator sees them.

The payments Stripe confirms (amount, currency, method and date), so the operator can answer about a charge.

Who else sees it

OpenRouter, when a screen needs written text: a summary of your term and the words you wrote, passed to the model provider. No email, name or password goes with it. Stripe, to take payments. Resend, to deliver the emails the game sends you (confirmation, password reset). Cloudflare, which hosts the game, tells us your country to choose the first language (we keep only that choice, in a cookie) and counts visits without cookies (Web Analytics). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Cookies

Two cookies: one keeps you signed in, the other remembers your country for the first language (30 days). Your settings (language, sound, text size) stay in your browser. No advertising or tracking cookies; the visit count is cookieless.

Rankings

When a term ends, its President's name, grade and score can appear on the public rankings. Choose a President's name you are happy to see in public.

Your choices and rights

Delete any term from the main menu; delete the account and everything in it from the account screen. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or ask anything about it, write to resolute@koruinteractive.com. Wherever you live (the EU and UK, California, Brazil and elsewhere), you can ask what we keep, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority.

Deleted accounts are erased with their saves and ranking rows at once; payment records stay with Stripe as tax law requires. The game is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep their data.
